I could well have named my blog Mallika's Blouse. Same meaning. But I didn't want meself to stoop as low as her neckline. And now apparently the actress, if you can call her that, is in a froth over an MMS according to... what else... the ToI.
And speaking of her, the same tabloid has this article about the sex lives of people in its now famous slide-show format. I couldn't read it beyond slide 2. Booorrrring! Others may find it more readable.

Ugh.
The Times of India is trying to shock India into a sexual revolution. Check out the Delhi edition of Dr. Mojo. The funny thing is, the sex advice/articles in there have nothing to do with India or Indians. They take these articles from foreign papers/mags and copy and paste them into their paper. The sex advice that Dr. Mojo dishes out to desis has nothing to do with the ground reality of real sex issues in India. For example, he wrote a whole speel on why desi women should force their lovers/husbands to give them oral sex during their menstrual periods. Hello! And he's writing this in a country where most people still feel a woman is "ritually contaminated" during that time (no participation in mandir/mosque activities), you get the picture. Now why don't they start writing about THE REAL ISSUES like how to manage some private time and space alone with your man when you live in a house full of in-laws? Or, how about hot to get your sexually conservative man to give you oral sex at any time, period, forget the period!
It's like TOI is trying to fast forward India by like a century or two, and skipping over some of the most basic components on the way.
